Ross Higgins


Ross began working at Higgins & Higgins as a clerk in 1969 and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1974. He has over 40 years experience in offering legal advice;  always ready to make the tough decisions for his clients’ benefit.

Ross is a Personal Injury Law Accredited Specialist, a Motor Traffic Accident Specialist and a Litigation Specialist. He is also a Local & District Court Arbitrator and Public Notary, and specialises in Insurance and Compensation Claims and Contesting Estates.

He is actively involved in the local community and was a Rugby Union referee at the highest level, and in 2008 was inducted into the Legend category of the Lithgow Sporting Hall of Fame.  Ross is married to Elizabeth.

Michelle Hibberson

B.Com., LLB (UNE)

Michelle joined the firm in March 2018. She has worked in the area of family law for the past 9 years working on parenting or property matters predominantly in the Federal Circuit Court or the Family Court of Australia, in Parramatta.

Michelle completed her Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws at the University of New England in 2007 and completed her practical legal training through the College of Law in 2008. She was admitted as a Lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2009.

Michelle completed school in Bathurst then moved to Sydney for 3 years, returning to Bathurst in 2000 and has lived there ever since. She is a competent member of the Higgins team who is results driven and strives to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients.

Ken Lambeth

LLB(HONS),BA, Grad Dip Leg.Prac.,Dip AE

With many years experience as both a prosecutor and defence solicitor, Ken is considered one of the Central West's best and most highly sought after criminal law solicitors.

Ken was admitted to practise as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in 2004 and has more than 10 years experience working exclusively in Criminal Law.

Having commenced his legal career at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) in Sydney, Ken took the opportunity to escape the big smoke to take up a position at the DPP's Bathurst office, where he served as a prosecutor for a number of years. He then moved to defence, initially at Legal Aid in Orange, and then at Aboriginal Legal Services in Bathurst.


Klaus Fegebank

Dip Law SAB

Admitted to practise in 1975, Klaus was a sole practitioner in Glenbrook, on the lower Blue Mountains, from 1979 to 2002. He specialises in Property, Commerce, Wills and Estates.


Patrick Heath


Patrick joined the firm in March 2011 and is a Personal Injury Law Accredited Specialist, Honorary Fellow of the Australasian College of Legal Medicine, and a member of both the Australian Lawyers Alliance, and North Metropolitan Law Society.

With more than 25 years legal experience, Patrick has a solid grounding in General Practice, Insurance Law and Litigation. Since the early 1990s, however, he has focused on Personal Injury law.


Nicole Roland

BA LLB Grad Dip Leg.Prac.

Nicole commenced a Clerkship with Higgins Lawyers in June 2015 to complete the practical legal training component of her qualifications, having been awarded a Bachelor of Arts Degree from The University of Sydney, majoring in Sociology and Social Policy, and a Bachelor of Laws Degree from The University of New South Wales.

Nicole successfully completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice in January 2016 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales as a Solicitor on 22 April 2016.

She is now employed on a full time basis with Higgins Lawyers, working mainly in the area of Family Law.

Nicole is a local to the Lithgow area, growing up and attending school in the region. She relocated to Sydney in order to complete her tertiary education and has now returned to practice within the Lithgow community.

Connie Edwards


Connie joined the team at Higgins Lawyers in 2009 as a legal secretary/conveyancing clerk.

She has worked in the property industry for approximately 17 years and has recently completed her studies as a Licenced Conveyancer at Macquarie University.

Connie has lived in Lithgow her whole life and has strong family and community connections. She has a friendly nature and is enthusiastic about her future career in conveyancing.
